YICT receives first call of new US service of CSCL

On 8 May 2009, the CSCL Xin Tai Cang berthed at YICT. The call was the first of the Asia-America East Coast 1 (AAE1) Service of China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL).
The new US service comprises eight 4,000-plus TEU vessels, which call at Yantian every Friday and follow a port rotation of Shanghai, Hong Kong, Yantian, New York, Norfolk, Savannah and Miami.
