Shipping business has over the years grown in many forms and standards as well as in partnership and co-operation.

Many of these partnerships and co-operations entered into either through agreement or recommendation has many times ended up in litigations at different courts of the world or even at different arbitrations.

Leaving ones country to another in pursuit of justice is another way of wasting huge resources that can better be used for business growth.

We in AASC have also noted with care that both litigation and arbitration between 2 organizations from different locations can lead to another business failure and most time judgments from such actions are difficult to enforce.

We will therefore constitute an arbitration committee to listen to cases of business failures among members.
