CCT relieves the needs of empty containers’ stacking

The impact to the shipping industry by the financial crisis has becoming more and more obviously after the 4th quarter of Y2008. CCT is increasing the stacking capacity for empty containers in order to pull throw with carriers.

CCT operation department is adjusting the position continuously to try the maximize room for empty containers under the condition of normal running. CCT expropriated the yard of Qianhai 3# which relies on China Merchants Group that enlarged more than 20,000TEU’s capacity and put into used up to now. The subsequent expansion project has proceeding according to plan and more capacities will came out one after the other in the short term.

Besides Qianhai 3# yard, CCT is looking for more social resources to make a push to release the pressure of carriers.
