André Roux appointed UK HR Director

Schenker Limited, the UK arm of the global integrated logistics provider, has appointed André Roux to the position of HR Director.  Based at the company's London Heathrow office, he joins the company from Kuehne & Nagel.

Roux's arrival is already having a positive impact on the whole of the UK operation.  "I want people to see me as a doer as I am a firm believer that HR should always take action which adds value to the business.  We will be launching a brand new training and induction programme company-wide in the New Year and I have a number of other initiatives which my team and I will be actioning during 2008", says Roux.

Commenting on Roux' arrival, UK CEO Klaus Eberlin adds: "In the few weeks since Andrė's arrival he has certainly had an impact on both those in his own department and the company as a whole.  He has a real drive and passion for his subject and I am sure he will play a major role in leading the organisation's training and human resources requirement for the future".
