cargo-partner opens Vizag office

Emergency shipment logistics specialist cargo-partner has opened a new office on the East Coast of India in Visakhapatnam.

   Also called Vizag, the city is home to one of India’s biggest ports, by tonnage, and becomes home to the 40th Asian office for cargo-partner, a subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group.

   Our presence in India is strongly linked to our strategic goal of becoming one of the leading providers of air and sea freight services serving continental Europe and Greater China, said Stefan Krauter, cargo-partner's chief executive officer, in a statement. Thanks to our growing network of company-owned offices in Asia, we have experienced significant growth in other markets, e.g. the intra-Asian market or the market to and from Australia, while maintaining our presence in our core markets in Europe.
