Intermarine takes delivery of new ship

Intermarine said Industrial Dart, the sixth new "D"-class heavy lift ship to enter its fleet, was delivered in Portugal earlier this month.

On its first voyage the ship loaded wind power generation components in Aviles, Spain, which will be discharged in Fairless Hill, Pa. It will then join Intermarine's services fleet to South America.

The 8,000-deadweight-ton D-class ships feature dual 250-metric-ton cranes that may be combined for 500-ton lifts.
