Agility Qatar in merger talks

Global logistics company Agility is discussing a merger in Qatar with Gulf Warehousing Co., the company said Thursday.

   The combined entity, to be called GWC-Agility, would create one of Qatar's biggest logistics companies.

   GWC, founded in 2004, has a flagship 25,000-square-meter facility in Doha, and is developing other warehouses throughout the Middle East nation.

   Financial details of the proposed merger were not released.
