OOCL reports increase in volumes, revenue

OOCL said third quarter improved 5.9 percent over the year-earlier period.

Revenue increased 15.6 percent to $1.6 billion.

With only a 1.9 percent increase in loadable capacity, the overall load factor was 3 percent higher than the same period of 2007, the company said.

Overall average revenue per TEU increased 9.2 percent compared with the third quarter of 2007.
