CBP installs 5 radiation monitors at Port of Mobile

 U.S. Customs and Border Protection said Friday it has completed the installation of its first radiation portal monitors at the Port of Mobile, Ala.

   The five portal monitors are designed to help detect and prevent smuggling of radioactive materials in containerized cargoes.
