Yang Ming names two box ships

Yang Ming today named two containerships at the Kaohsiung Shipyard of CSBC Corp., Taiwan.

The two ships were the 8,200-TEU YM Upward and 4,250-TEU YM Enhancer, the latter of which Yang Ming said would join the Asia Europe Loop 3.

So far this year the Taiwanese carrier has brought two 4,250-TEU and three 8,250-TEU vessels into its fleet.

By expanding global fleet capacity, Yang Ming is determined to keep a firm focus on providing dependable service quality to each and every customer, Yang Ming said.
