Hommel brought in as time:matters new spare parts logistics head

German courier, same-day and emergency logistics company time:matters, part of the Lufthansa Group, has brought in Hans-Peter Hommel as vice president of spare parts logistics, a newly created executive position.

This personnel decision demonstrates that time:matters acknowledges the growing significance of the international time-critical spare parts logistics business field, an area which is forecasted to have considerable international growth potential, the company said.

Hommel, who previously worked for TNT, will report to Jg Asbrand, time:matters holding chief operations and customer service officer.
