Daewoo Shipbuilding wins $710 mln order in America

Daewoo Shipbuilding and Engineering said on Thursday it had won a 720.7 billion won ($709.7 million) order for a semi-submersible drilling ship from an unidentified company in the Americas.

Daewoo will deliver the vessel by September 2011, the South Korean shipbuilder said in a filing with the Korea Exchange.
