Horizon Lines names director of investor relations

Domestic ocean shipping and logistics company Horizon Lines Inc. has named James R. Storey director of investor relations and corporate communications.

With more than 16 years experience in investor relations and communications, Storey most recently served as vice president of investor relations for BlueLinx Holdings Inc. an Atlanta-based distributor of building products. Earlier in his career he was a reporter and editor at Dow Jones & Co. in New York.
