Ports to Be Closed

China has clamped down on transport of dangerous goods at designated ports during the Olympic Games in Beijing on August 8-24.

According to Fairplay, in a notice to trade liner operator APL, the government has affirmed earlier reports that it will be restricting certain dangerous-goods cargo on vessels at Dalian, Xingang, Qingdao and Shanghai.
