Yang Ming chairman Huang honored

W.H. Huang, chairman of the Taiwanese Yang Ming Group, was today awarded the Commandeur Decoration from Belgium for achievements in international shipping and contributions in the fields of global economy, culture, art and science.

The honor was given at a ceremony held at the Yang Ming Oceanic Culture and Arts Museum in Keelung.

Huang joined Yang Ming in 1975 as a base-level employee, rising through the ranks to become president in 2001 and chairman in 2005.
