Liu, Expeditors' Asia COO, resigns

Expeditors International of Washington said Sandy K.Y. Liu, the company's chief operating officer in Asia, has resigned, effective Aug. 17.

Liu has served as the Seattle-based logistics firm's COO in Asia for seven and a half years. Prior to this appointment, he served for 31 years at Taiwan-based China Airlines. Liu was president of the airline from 1998 to 2001.
