RF Government to Reduce Import Dairy Products Tariffs

On October, 15 head of the RF Ministry of Agriculture Alexsey Gerdeev announced that the Russian Government plans to reduce the import tariff on milk and dairy products from 15% to 5%.

According to A.Gordeev, currently the question is being discussed.

It is said that this measure will help to cope with dairy products cost increase. In September of the current year the cost of pasteurized milk increased by 9.4%, cultured milk foods - by 7.9%, cottage cheese - by 7.4%-7.5%.
