The Italia-flagged 292,5m-long Costa Mediterranea (operated by Costa Cruises) docked today, May 30, at the port of Odessa. The cruise ship appears to be the largest vessel that called ever at the port (after the Queen Victoria and the Norwegian Jade), the Odessa Commercial Sea Port’s press office said.
The Costa Mediterranea arrived from Constanta (Romania) this early morning, moored at Berth Number 15 and after a 10-hour stopover will make for Yalta. There are more than 2,100 tourists onboard the cruise ship. The Costa Mediterranea is scheduled to call at Odessa port again on July 15.
