SOUTHEAST China's Beihai Airport in Guangxi posted a 103 per cent growth year on year in cargo throughput to 1,191 tonnes in the first four months of this year, reports Xinhua.
The growth was attributed to increased flights to Shanghai and Beijing and new services to Chongqing, Chengdu and Kunming, providing Beihai airport opportunities to facilitate the movement of the area's fresh seafood, fried fish and fruit delivery inland by air.
