CEVA Logistics has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by FCI at its annual conference for the most innovative partners.
The logistics company has been providing supply chain services to FCI for four years, a global manufacturer of connectors for automotive, telecom infrastructure, consumer, industrial and electronic products.
It also joins FCI's supplier development programme as a preferred supplier. The programme aims to improve the manufacturer's performance in key areas, including the reduction of lead times in the supply chain, promoting lean efficiency, improving the quality of services to its customers and increasing profitability for all supply chain participants, a CEVA statement said.
"We are very proud of being awarded this certificate," said the company's industrial sector director for Northern Europe, Jerome Chadeau. "This is the result of the work of a dedicated, passionate and motivated team working together."
The logistics firm is tasked with managing the manufacturer's global freight flows, chiefly by air and ocean freight, four logistics centres located in Europe and Asia. It also provides value-added services, including supply chain consulting and solutions design for enhanced traffic flows, project cargo management, and the movement of oversized equipment and charters.
