SHIPPING website GT Nexus filed a complaint in US District Court in San Jose, California, claiming rival INTTRA is pressuring the company. its customers and partners by threatening to sue over alleged infringment of INTTRA patents, reports American Shipper.
GT Nexus is asking the court to declare four INTTRA patents to be invalid, that GT Nexus has not infringed on them, and have INTTRA cease attempts to enforce the patents or claiming GT Nexus is infringing on them.
INTTRA said it would "not to comment on pending legal matters. However, we will affirm that we believe the case has no merit and we will be actively defending our rights in court."
