THE International Transport Forum will bring together ministers of transport from 52 countries to discuss it's 2011 theme of Transport for Society in panel discussions and ministerial sessions in Leipzig from May 25-27.
The strategic think tank of the OECD will provide panel discussions with simultaneous translation from and into English, French, German, Russian and, for some panels, Spanish.
Speakers include Jeffrey Sachs, US economist und Special Advisor to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon; Peter Voser, CEO Royal Dutch Shell, "urban planning legend" Jaime Lerner; Jeremy Rifkin, advisor to the European Commission and author of The Empathic Civilisation and Airbus CEO Thomas Enders.
