Shanghai is bracing itself for a continuation of the strikes that paralyzed much activity at the world’s largest port last week.
Truck drivers who went on a three-day strike last week over high fuel costs and high port charges are mulling returning to strike as they feel concessions made by authorities are too small. Up to 2,000 truck drivers blocked key terminals in Shanghai last week, bringing clashes with the police.
