Rapiscan provides screening and support services to inspect cargo traffic at locations including ports of entry, border crossings and transportation hubs. Its security inspection solutions utilise X-ray and gamma-ray imaging and advanced threat identification techniques such as neutron and diffraction analysis. With more than 70,000 security and inspection systems installed globally which meet the most demanding threat detection needs, the company's products are sold into four market segments; baggage and parcel inspection, cargo and vehicle inspection, hold baggage and people screening.

Deepak Chopra, president and CEO of OSI Systems said, "We are excited about the launch of our Puerto Rico scanning operations. Commercial and government agencies continue to evaluate our screening as an efficient alternative that reduces upfront capital investment and offers an innovative approach to handling ongoing maintenance and staffing requirements, while completing screening in a rapid manner."
