Singapore's CWT Globelink expands to Costa Rica and Guatemala

SINGAPORE's CWT Globelink has announced the opening of two offices in Central America - Globelink Aeroceano Costa Rica and Globelink Aeroceano Guatemala - marking its first foray into Latin American.


Globelink Aeroceano will be led by managing director Francisco Cordero, who has more than 15 years of experience in forwarding and an deep knowledge of Central America. Commercial directors Marcela Diaz in Costa Rica and Raul Ureta in Guatemala, and their staffs will assist Mr Cordero.


With offices in San Jose and Guatemala City, Globelink Aeroceano will provide the group with coverage of Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. Globelink will also expand the network of agents in the region.


With the latest expansion, CWT Globelink now has 92 offices in 22 countries, operating in Australia, China, Croatia, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Pakistan, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the UAE and Vietnam.
