Four lines unite for new Latin service

Wan Hai Lines, Evergreen Line, Coscon and PIL will jointly launch a new direct service connecting Asia to West Coast of South America service at the end of April.


The service, called WSA, consists of 10 3,000 TEU vessels with Evergreen deploying four and Coscon, PIL and Wan Hai two each.


The service runs on a 70-day rotation, calling at Kaohsiung, Yantian, Hong Kong, Ningbo, Shanghai, Manzanillo, Buenaventura, Callao, Iquique, San Antonio, and back to Kaohsiung.


The first sailing is planned from Kaohsiung on April 30 and is expected to arrive in San Antonio on June 12.
