Beijing Capital Airport sisters with Thai airports

BEIJING Capital International Airport has signed a memorandum on becoming a sister airport with those operated by Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT), Xinhua reports.


The deal will strengthen the exchange of the two parties on operation, service enhancement and business management, and facilitate the cooperation on exploring new technologies and concepts, increasing their share in the rapidly growing Asian air market.


Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited is one of the major airport operators in southeast China, operating six airports in Thailand, including the New Bangkok International Airport, which has a passenger throughput of 42.5 million.


So far, Beijing Capital International Airport has joined with AOT, Hong Kong International Airport, Athens International Airport, Singapore's Changi Airport, Aeroports de Paris, Vancouver International Airport, Japan's Narita International Airport, Sydney International Airport and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
