The return flight will depart Singapore at 1540 hrs, arrive at Xiamen at 1930 hrs, depart 2030 hrs for Zhengzhou.
Xiamen Airlines already has two daily services to Singapore - from Tianjin (via Xiamen) and Hangzhou (via Fuzhou). The addition of Zhengzhou to Changi's network brings to six the number of new city links to China established since January 2010, following Guilin, Shantou, Hefei, Qingdao and Nanning.
Changi Airport Group's CEO Lee Seow Hiang said the launch of Xiamen Airlines flight from Zhengzhou to Singapore would not have been possible without the strong support of the Henan provincial government, Xiamen Airlines and Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport.
"With the connection to Zhengzhou, Singaporeans will now have the opportunity to visit the Henan, which is rich in cultural and tourism attractions," said Mr Lee.
