Hamburg Sud orders six 9,600-TEU ships from Hyundai Heavy

GERMANY's Hamburg Sud has placed an ordered of six 9,600-TEU vessels from South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries with an option for additional four ships.


Worth US$711 million, these ships will start to be delivered in May 2013, says the Hyundai website.
