Evergreen to start butterfly loop to Thailand, Indonesia from Malaysia

EVERGREEN is starting a new butterfly TMI loop that links Malaysia's Tanjung Pelepas to ports in Thailand and Indonesia.


The port rotation for the service that will turn in two weeks is: Tanjung Pelepas, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Port Kelang, Tanjung Pelepas, Jakarta and back to Tanjung Pelepas, reports Alphaliner.


It said the TMI will be operated using two containerships, the 1,164-TEU Uniangel and the 1,121-TEU Cape Santiago. The first sailing is scheduled on March 24 from Jakarta.
