Net loss of shipbuilding plant Severnaya Verf up RUR 5.3 mln to RUR 120.8 mln in Q1 08

In the first quarter of 2008, net loss of shipbuilding plant Severnaya Verf grew by RUR 5.3 million, year-on-year, to RUR 120.8 million, the company informs. In the reported period, the company’s revenue totaled RUR 557.8 million.

Shipbuilding plant Severnaya Verf (Severnaya Verf OJSC, St. Petersburg) is one of the largest shipbuilding companies in Russia. Major shareholder of the company is United Industrial Corporation CJSC (72.19). The yard builds and repairs Navy ships and commercial vessels of different purpose.
