Chongqing 33.5pc over budget in roadway fixed asset spending

CHONGQING's investment on roadway fixed assets totalled to CNY37.4 billion (US$5.7 billion) last year, up 21.5 per cent year on year, 33.5 per cent more than its annual budget, Xinhua reports.


CNY34.3 billion was spent on the road transport, up 24 per cent, 37.1 per cent over budget.
