HK up 4.5pc in October to 1.9 million TEU, Singapore rises 3.4pc

FIGURES from the Hong Kong Marine Department show the port handled 1.9 million TEU in October, an increase of 4.5 per cent over the 1.8 million TEU in October of last year.

Singapore's Maritime and Port Authority reported a 3.4 per cent increase in container movement in October, having handled 2.4 million TEU compared to 2.3 million TEU in October of last year.
