Guangxi allocates 260 bln yuan to build int'l transport hub

The government of Guangxi will allocate 260 billion yuan to build a transportation network comprising railways, highways, water carriage and aviation etc. in an effort to make Guangxi a regional international transport hub linking Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) areas, said Ma Biao, Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on May 6.

Situated at the converging point of South China Economic Circle, Southwest China Economic Circle and China-ASEAN Economic Circle, Guangxi is China's only province linked to ASEAN region on land and sea.
