Farm produce trade between Fujian and Taiwan increases by 54.2% in first quarter

In the first quarter of 2008, the agricultural products trade between Fujian Province and Taiwan Province reached 34.344 million USD, increasing by 54.2% than the same period of last year.

Moreover, its growth rate rises by 17.1% than the same period of last year.

A series of favorable measures towards Taiwan Province have contributed to the rapid growth, said an official from Fuzhou Customs.
