Asia-Australia service shift from Chiwan to Yantian

HAPAG-LLOYD is switch from the Shenzhen terminal Chiwan to the neighbouring one at Yantian on its Australia Service South Loop (AAS) becomes effective November 6, reports Compair Data.


The port rotation for a multi-carrier loop serviced by APL, Evergreen, Hyundai Merchant Marine and Maersk will run through Kaohsiung, Shenzhen-Yantian, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane with an average vessel size of 4,278 TEU on its five-vessel service.


The remaining loop is called CAS by APL, FA2 by Hyundai, and Yo-Yo by Maersk. Slot buyers on the service include Hamburg Sud and MSC.
