Qinghai to Tibet railway's extension commences building

QINGHAI to Tibet railway's extension project, Lhasa to Shigatse railway, has commenced construction, heralding a boosted Tibet role in south Asia's growing trade, report Xinhua.

The new railway is an important part of the trade lane by which Tibet will further advance the open-up force to boost economic development, said Xinhua.
