Net Insight AB provides transport platform for Ireland's digital TV distribution network

Swedish broadcast and media network solutions provider Net Insight AB (OMX Stockholm:NETI B) said on Monday (5 May) that the Irish communications network operator RTE NL has selected Net Insight's Nimbra platform for the new national digital terrestrial TV (DTT) distribution network.

The order covers the Nimbra platform for distribution of digital TV (DVB-T) and radio (DAB) signals, data and all current analogue and FM radio channels, as well as the Nimbra Vision management platform.

Net Insight received the order in cooperation with its local systems integration partner EMR.

No financial details were disclosed.
