Taicang port launches two new services to Taiwan

SUZHOU province's Taicang port has launched two additional direct services to Taiwan, bringing a total of four regular services weekly to this route, reported Xinhua.

The port, 60 miles upstream from Shanghai, handled 22,300 TEU from January to July for its Taiwan line, which nearly equalled the 23,112 TEU throughput last year. It is also the port where the start-up The Containership Company (TCC) launched its Taicang, Ningbo-Los Angeles Dragon shuttle.
