DACHSER, a global logistics provider, is building a new regional office and a logistics Eurohub on a 64,000-square metre site in Bratislava, Slovakia, to enhance services to eastern and central Europe.
The EUR11 million (US$13.97 million) facility will be completed in the first quarter of 2011, and will incorporate a 3,400-square metre transshipment hall for industrial goods, which will function as the company's new Eurohub together with a 1,800-square metre office building.
Bratislava is one of the company's three Eurohubs, linked to 12 countries among the Baltic, the Adriatic and the Black Sea, including Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy and Slovakia.
