Correction: NY-NJ dredging not held up by reduction in Congressional funds

THE Container Shipping Manager reported that the Port of New York and New Jersey's Harbour Deepening Project (HDP) had hit a "roadblock" because of a reduction in Congressional funding.

The Port of New York and New Jersey has since pointed out that this is not the case and that the HDP remains on schedule. To date, the port has four active construction contracts and according to a port, another contract will be awarded by September 30 and possibly another by December 31. We regret the error and any inconvenience it may have caused.
