Fujian throughput up 25.2pc in first seven months

THROUGHPUT at Fujian provincial ports grew 25.2 per cent year on year to 4.86 million TEU in the first seven months of 2010, reported Xinhua.

Xiamen and Fuzhou remained the most busy ports in Fujian province, where Xiamen handled 3.25 million TEU, up 28.5 per cent year on year and Fuzhou 834,900 TEU, up 24.6 per cent year on year.
