Federal Customs Service plans to transfer customs clearance from ports to dry terminals

Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation plans to transfer customs clearance of goods and vehicles from ports to dry terminals Interfax reports according to dp.ru. The decision was taken at the board of FTS on April 25 when discussing customs clearance and control at marine and river checkpoints.

According to the Service it is to simplify customs clearance of vessels due to prompt exchange of information.
