TRADE volume through Guangxi's Port of Qinzhou increased 27 per cent year on year to 5.1 million tonnes, while the trade value was up 33.8 per cent year on year to US$900 million in the first half of 2010, reported Xinhua.
ASEAN remains the largest trading partner with Qinzhou in the first half. Trade value of ASEAN economies was $320 million, up 17.1 per cent, which accounted for 36.4 per cent of Qinzhou's total trade value, slightly down 5.2 per cent year on year. Australia, with a trade value of $180 million, was the second largest trade partner, followed by US at $150 million.
