MSC drops Asia-Europe imbalance surcharge until July 14

GENEVA's Mediterranean Shipping Co (MSC) has suspended an equipment imbalance surcharge on cargo from Asia to Europe until mid-July, MSC said in a notice to trade.

MSC said that the US$200 per TEU charge would likely be reintroduced July 14, after having been brought in on May 24.
