Global container volume expected to grow 6-8pc this year

GLOBAL container shipping volume is expected to grow six to eight per cent this year despite double-digit growth in the first quarter, and not Singapore's as erroneously reported.

It was incorrectly reported by the Shipping Gazette enews on Monday, June 7, that this number referred to Singapore's anticipated throughput when it was in fact a reference to the global expectation of Drewry's of London.
