Hanjin, HHM, Yang Ming, USAC launch Asia-Adriatic Sea service

HANJIN Shipping, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Yang Ming (UK) and United Shipping Arab Company (SAG) have commenced a new container shipping service linking Asia to the fast growing Adriatic Sea area.

The four carriers will jointly deploy eight panamax vessels on the service.

The port rotation is: Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen-Yantian, Singapore, Colombo, Jeddah, Port Said (W), Alexandria, Mersin, Koper, Trieste, Rijeka, Venice, Port Said (W), Singapore, Hong Kong and back to Busan.

The maiden voyage will depart from Busan in the week of May 30.
