Hyundai Merchant Marine levies US$200/TEU Asia-Europe rate hike

KOREA's Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) has announced a general rate increase of US$200 per TEU on all cargo moving from Asia to Europe from June 1.

HMM in its notice to the trade, gave as its reason the growing stability of the market and the mounting confidence in its prospects during the current shipping season.
