RUSSIA's Kaliningrad Commercial Seaport throughput increased by 14 per cent year on year during the reported period January to April with its stevedoring company transhipping 190,500 tons of imports, a 25.8 per cent year-on-year increase.
Exports rose 11.7 per cent year on year to 861,600 tons, a figure that breaks down to 223,300 tons of petroleum products, up 9.7 per cent; 492,900 tons of ferrous metals, up 22.3 per cent and 64,200 tons of coal and coke, up three per cent, reported Portnews Agency.
