Palma aims for longer quay

The Balearic Islands Port Authority has issued a tender for the expansion of Poniente Quay at the Port of Palma. The work will cost €36m ($48.9m) and be completed within 16 months. The existing quay will be lengthened by 50 metres and two new berths, each of 380 metres, will be constructed.
